Second class, first lesson

Had my first lesson in the level 2 class. I was surprised to see that there are only three of us (there were 12 in my last class, down to 7 at the end)- one who took the beginner's class last year, and one who took the first class with me. It was nice to see a familiar face.

After the first lesson I am most pleased that there are only three of us. As we learned more challenging steps, I was thankful for the extra attention. We learned two types of 'paddle turns'. After the first lesson it is still difficult for me to do them much less explain them properly. Perhaps I'll do some video of just my feet to examine the step.
